Hi dears!I hope all my foreign readers had a lovely Christmas! We russians are mostly orthodox so we celebrate Chistmas on the 7th of January and it's not celebrated so widely in my country because of our hard history-the Soviet period was absolutely atheistic and all religious holidays were abolished. New Year is celebrated in Russia so much more and it's just crazy here on the New Year's eve! Now I spend all my spare time looking for the best presents for my relatives, friends and of course my beloved person! One of my fave things before the New Year's eve is packing presents! I always do it myself and every time I use all my imagination for this. My younger sister is an Alice in Wonderland fan and she adores everything related to it! I had so much fun packing her present-it started with magic muchrooms that I cut myself from different types of paper and ended like this even with a self-drawn Cheshire cat! I'm not sure that putting the words as "eat me" near the magic mushrooms is legal but anyway the result is great for my opinion and the present looks very personal.

We have changed but we're still the same

I'm so in love with this video. I think it's one of the best told and most beautyful love stories in music video category. Can say that it's a song of my day. I remembered this song because I watched a film "Somewhere" by Sofia Coppola all alone today and have heared it in that film.

a little occasion

It's winter now,it's cold and it's hard to be a good blogger now with loads of outfit posts and I stay all day at home today because we have disturbances in the center of the city and I'm a bit scared. I don't have much to say to you now so just wanted to show some fun photos from the day I went to my hair dresser. I realised that it's always some kind of occasion for me. I asked him to show me some hair style that I can make myself-here is one of them(quite extreme though).

I know that I didn't post any of my outfits for a long time so here it is! I think you guess why I can't take photos now-it is getting dark so early! Honestly I hate making photos with flash but it's better like this than nothing. I'm wearing my new coral Ugg's. Most of fashionistas hate Ugg's but with such severe winters(when it's -20C outside) like we have in Russia you can't survive in your super-trendy-fashion-boots and for my opinion the most unfashionable thing is a person suffering from cold.

inspiration-beautiful hands

I always pay attention to the hands when I look at some person.Hands can tell a lot about a person-his/her social status, his habits,his age,how much he cares about his body and many other things.For some reason this part of body is very important for me so I take care of my own hands and I feel naked when I don't have nail polish on my nails so they are always painted. What I am looking for now-some nice big rings but the problem is that the most beautiful and bold are usually pretty expensive. Anyway good costume jewellery is a right thing to invest in your wardrobe so if you know any online stores wich sell nice high quality rings-let me know please!

Lanvin♥H&M hunting

Today Lanvin ♥ H&M collection hit the stores in Russia. I was waiting for this day and saving some money because I loved almost every piece from this collection. Must say that this collaboration surprised me pleasantly for some reasons:
-high quality of the pieces(though they cost much for H&M(from 160euro for a dress) they worth that money)
-good organisation(no fights,no crush and very helpful shop assistants)
-really nice design(though I didn't expect other from Lanvin)
I came to the store about 1 pm and got a bracelet with the time on it when I could see the collection and it wasn't a problem to take and try on many pieces(unfortunately or fortunately(you guess why) I looked like a big cake in some of the dresses) but finally my hunting was quite successful-I got three pieces-a t-shirt, a dress and a necklace (exactly as I planed).
Here are some details of what I got.

PS:I had a strange feeling when I went out of the store with my purchases-I felt like a sheep that fell for a good advertising and bought the same dress as other 100 girls in my city but that feeling didn't last long because at home I saw how good-looking I am in that dress and how perfect it would be to wear it for the New Year's eve.

Fashion Forecast-the beginning

Some people are lucky to have a good intuition and I guess that I'm among them. Quite frequently I have premonitions about what is going to be popular trendy or name it like you want. My premonitions about fashion are usually exepressed in an intolerable desire to own something. I had this feeling long time before veils became trendy and appeared in all magazines and street fashion stores. I don't know how that idea appeared in my head because I even didn't see any photos(for example retro) with veils before that moment but I was dreaming about that piece so hard that I digged Etsy all over to find at least some vintage veils because I couldn't find any here in SPb. My aim was achieved and I got some vintage black veil from Etsy and made some head piece with a bow,veil and even spots(I cut them out of velvet fabric) but I faced another problem-where I can go with this beauty on my head and not to be taken for a mad person?! Unfortunately that amazing head piece didn't see the light much(except one fun photo shoot-the photo above was made then)but anyway I was happy because then I realised-I have a good fashion intuition.

I was bearing an idea of a number of Fashion Forecast posts from that time and finally I know what I can present to you, my dear readers. It's just an experiment but I think that for a fashion blogger it's important to have intuition and to share it with others because nowadays bloggers become trendsetters.

Let's face it-I'm not Claudia Schiffer . Yesterday while drinking red wine alone and dancing for some stupid song at home I invented my look for the upcoming Halloween party. This time I'm going to wear something really tight so hello fruit and vegetables and bye-bye fast food and sweets.

You know that I rarely talk about designers and collections here on my blog so if I do so that means I'm absolutely in love with what I show to you.
This time I'm very proud to present you a russian designer from Saint-Petersburg -Sonya Marmeladova. I was watching what she was doing for a long time and I always liked her style-so sweet,so romantic,so dreamy and very aristocratic. This time when I saw the looks from her f/w2010-2011 collection I fell in love with them! First-the styling is perfect(flowers,head pieces-love love love!), second-clothes are charming(that's exactly what I'd like to wear this fall) and the model!!!just look at her! so innocent, so lovely and she looks absolutely harmonious wearing these pieces(I can't imagine another model in this campaign).
My fave piece is the burgundy dress with polka dot cuffs and collar. Hope I'll be able to get it for myself some day.

CATS CATS CATS!It's just impossible not to love them-big,small,spotty and stripy-they all are amazing and can be a great inspiration for an outfit and for girl's habits.
But sometimes I think I'm not ok because I just can't pass by any kind of cat-like today at university.I needed to fondle it like I need air.
It was funny to find out today that MAC cosmetics has also chosen cats as an inspiration for their new collection(need to get one lipstick from it).
This song was haunting me all day long.
