I'll take you to the candy shop

Uh...I'm finaly free from my university for the next week! This week was one of the hardest this year-I had exams almost every day and I had the final exam at my make up artist/stylist courses. I am proud of myself because my work was the best at the exam! Here are some photos and may be later I'll post some more.
We had to make a look on the subject "antistress". I made a "candy shop girl". The dress is made of a man's XXL t-shirt and ten bast whispes(it took four hours of my precious time!) , the doughnut-it's a painted rubber ring , the bracelet is made of jellies, her lips are covered with grit for cake and her head is covered with candy floss. I think I coped with the task!)

love at first sight

Just look at this beauty! I saw it at the window two days ago and it was...just love at first sight!I was already dreaming how I drink tea from it on a sunny morning.... but it was very expensive ,so i needed some time to think... And today I was feeling so nervous that somebody could buy it that I went and did it! So it's mine now! I adore beautiful dishes so I just couldn't resist. But now I hesitate if I should leave it for myself or I should give it like a present to someone... The problem is that I don't have so much money for presents now and I shouldn't afford such expensive things for myself. So what should I do?

great photoshoot

Today I made a photoshoot for my term paper for my make up school! I'm very excited because the results are really nice and I want to show them to you so much!But...I think I should wait a lil' bit because I want to keep my ideas in a safe place. I'll show you these pictures after I hand them over to my teachers.

make up shopping

These days were so busy and nervous that I decided to buy something really bright and cheerful . I needed some stuff for my make up school so I went to the professional shop for make up artists. Here are my purchases: feather lashes(I have no idea when I can use them because they look extremely long -may be for New Year party, but I don’t know yet where I’m going to celebrate it and what to wear, but I was dreaming about them for a long time. They are so so beautiful!); gold sparkles-I’m going to use them for my make up courses or for some crazy make up for myself; pale pink and aubergine ( incredibly rich color-I’m looking forward to use it!)nail polish from OPI.

Metamorphoses

Everyone can be ugly, everyone can be beautiful…. I realized that on the last lesson of my make up courses. We had to make a character for advertisement. Our group’s task was to make an advertisement for a dance school and another group had a task to make an advertisement for make up school. We decided to make “before” and “after”. Our idea was to make a granny that goes dancing. Another group made for “before” some kind of Ugly Betty and for “after” some kind of super-diva. We used some ordinary cosmetics and some special grease-paints(for gray hair and yellow teeth-haha!))my fave!!). It was such a stress for a girl to see herself so old! Poor thing! I think it was the most interesting lesson)

P.S. Lately I have so much to do for my university that I have no time to write posts frequently-sorry! To be honest, I have so much problems now that my head is going to blow up!

finnish bloggers

I read and watch a lot of blogs every day because it's much more inspiring than reading fashion magazines. I realised that I like finnish bloggers most of all-they have very independent unique style and they rarely become trend-victims. I'm not some kind of anti-globalist but it's better when people from different countries dress up different, so finnish people is a good example of it. I also like to read their blogs because I go to Helsinki frequently and it would be interesting to meet them some day somewhere on the street. collection

Some time ago I considered eyes to be more important part of the face and I always accentuated them. But then I noticed that my lips always look "undressed" and from this point my love for lipsticks and lipgloss began. Today I purchased Chanel Aqualumiere lipgloss("bonbon") that I was looking forward to buy.

I was using my electric pink lipstick some days ago and I've heard the most weird compliment from one boy-"You have a beautiful make up!"(usually guys don't notice things like that)

A lil' bit stupid photos,but I just wanted to show you my new blouse made by tailor(loose silk sleeves and bow). This is my today's outfit. Today I had a family day-I met my grandmother that I haven't seen for 10 years!I was very glad to see her and I wanted to make the best impession.

practical work

I'm quite nervous because tomorrow I have to do practical work! I have to work for Cat's model agency graduation!We have to do the make up very fast and it must be bright but not vulgar-it's a hard task!Too bad that I have to buy a lot of cosmetics tomorrow for this work,though it's a good practice and we really need it.May be I'll make some photos(if i have time).

electric pink

Yes!I did it!I bought what I wanted! YSL electric pink lipstick. I like it so so much!I think I can use it even when I'm going to university ,for example tomorrow. My boy-friend said that I look like a doll when I have it on my lips)

Lipstick

I have never used lipstick before, I used only light lip gloss because I thought that bright lipstick looks vulgar. Now I understand that you have to mature to begin using lipstick because it really changes all your look and makes it really outstanding. So now I have passion for it and trying to save some money to buy all the colors that I like! I think that YSL makes the best lipstick-the colors are very rich, the quality is really high and the wrapping is very nice(it’s also important). I’ve already bought red one(now I feel like a real woman))))lol) and now there are still two colors in my wish list: electric pink and dark crimson.

This collection by Matthew Willamson has to reach the stores at the 23rd of April 2009, I hope I will be able to go to Helsinki to see it,because usually something happens when someone interesting makes collection for H&M and I can't come to Helsinki in time!
